Virtual Convocation Event Graphics — 2021

OCAD U is the largest and most comprehensive art, design and media university in Canada. In early 2021 I was commissioned to create event graphics for the upcoming Virtual Convocation ceremony. Earlier design solutions weren't considered appropriate for the current tone of what students had been facing with lockdowns and online learning. It was decided to create something to brighten the current mood and step away from past iterations. Inspiration for the design was taken from the Architecture of the Sharpe Center, OCAD U's main campus landmark feature and the Bauhaus design movement combining traditional and modern elements that reflect the diversity of the university's students and curriculum.
